thanks for stopping by and checking out my digital garden; it is here where I am constantly tending, learning, pruning, and growing on the internet
what i do:
- I empower human beings to make well-informed decisions by building trust, engagement, and education through digital technologies.
- I currently work at Peacock as a Senior Product Designer on the Globalization and Devices Team.
- I teach at Pratt Institute with emphasis in thesis research. I help young budding creatives form their own research methodologies, discover new digital technological tools, and improve their writing through AI and machine learning tools.
- I love weaving in branding, research, and product design as a mechanism for storytelling and experiences.
- I enjoy research for fun (sorry, not a flex, but itβs what I actually do) recently just finished the course on AI for Everyone and Machine Learning Specialization from Andrew Ng.

my values
Lifelong Learning as My Manifesto
Learning does not end after graduate school or with a degree. I am in perpetual beta and constantly pursuing new schools of research and thought in self-improvement.
Curiosity in the Ambiguity & the Chaos
I find comfort in facing the unknown when I invite the creative muses into my process such as Exploration, Freedom, Messiness, Expressive, Play, Mischievousness.
Collaboration with Diverse Voices
I work best in a room full of people with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and expertise. Criticism is hard to hear, but is necessary substance to fortify the work.
Humility as a Perpetual Beginner
I use the First Principles Thinking: questioning the past, thinking and seeing with beginnerβs mind, and remixing with new solutions.
Everyone Eats at My Table
One of my pet peeves is not giving credit where itβs due or witnessing this heinous crime. With every milestone and hurdle, I lead my team and ensure everyone has a seat before I do.
Tenderness as the Approach
Through my projects, at work, and in real life, I make people, clients, stakeholders, users of the software, and friends feel seen, heard and understood. It is the foundation of trust and disarming defensiveness.
my joys
Volunteering with the NYC Parks & Recreation
As a Street Tree Care Captain, I go around NYC nurturing, aerating, and caring for neglected street trees with other volunteers. Join us!
Researching about design & technology & sustainability
I believe in a greener and more sustainable internet.
Movement
I love moving and physically challenging myself so youβll find me bouldering, boxing, roller skating and roller blading, dancing salsa, dancing ballet, skateboarding, hiking, amongst other things.
Iβm currently doing the comfort zone challenge; skiing for the first time β wish me luck.
why a digital garden?
I called this space my digital garden, because unlike a polished portfolio site, my work is continuously growing. I am constantly tending, learning, pruning, and growing on the internet, especially when it comes to talking about my design work and my process.
